La Crescent Applefest is sponsoring its 2nd Annual Spring into Fest. This is fun for all ages. Doors open at 3 with the new fest button unveiled. With a Cornhole Touramnet to follow the live music line up will be sure to keep you around into the evening. We welcome the community members and neighboring festivals to join us at this event. Admission is only $5 for a fun afternoon/evening of entertainment.

The La Crescent Apple Festival Board of Directors would like to THANK ALL the partipants in the 2011 King Apple Parade. Each year, the King Apple parade is held on the Sunday of Applefest weekend at 1:00 PM in La Crescent, MN.

Golden Apple Medallion has been found!!

THE SEARCH IS OVER!! The Golden Apple Medallion has been FOUND!! CONGRATULATIONS to Dan Coogan of La Crescent!! He found the Golden Apple Medallion Sunday morning in Vetsch Park on the !!

If you head up North 2nd and into Vetsch park on the wood-chip path going directly up the hill, then continue up the hill past the wood-chips about 30 or 40 feet to where there are more trees than brush, you would see the medallion sitting in the brush at the base of one of the first trees off to the right as you walk up the hill.
