APPLE ANNIES

Apple Annies are celebrating their 27^th anniversary in August, 2011. Each year in August, the Annies present their yearly Cabaret Show, a very entertaining evening. Months of planning and rehearsals are required by the Annies and their director to put this show together. Included in the Cabaret Show, Apple Annie contestants perform and the new Apple Annie for thecurrent year is named.

An Apple Annie contestant must be 26 years of age and be able to sing and entertain. Each contestant is required to sing two songs in front of an audience. A group of judges select the new Apple Annie.

A “Meet the Contestant” event is planned for Wednesday, August 24, 2011 at the Eagles Club in La Crosse. This is an opportunity for the Apple Annie contestants to meet the Annies and other contestants.

APPLE ANNIE CABARET

The 2011 Apple Annie Cabaret will be held on August 27, 2011. Cabaret ticket price is $10.00 and will be available for purchase on August 1, 2011. Ticket outlets in La Crescent are: Quillin’s, Merchants Bank and the Commodore/American Legion. Or you can contact any of the Annies or purchase your ticket at the door.

An Applefest button is required for this event. The Apple Annie Cabaret ticket will not include an Applefest button. You can purchase an Applefest button from any of the ticket outlet businesses noted above or you can purchase a button at the door the night of the Cabaret.

Cabaret Schedule:

6:45 PM – Doors open
7:00 PM – Apple Anne pre-show entertainment
7:00 PM – Light hors d’oeuvres buffet line
7:30 PM Apple Annie Cabaret and Apple Annie contestants
7:00 – 9:00 Wait staff available to take refreshment orders

Be assured, there will be the same great Apple Annie entertainment; including pre-show performance, the Cabaret show and the participation of contestants for the 2011 Apple Annie title.
