2008-2009 Applefest Royalty


Miss La Crescent: Mallery Schoen
Mallery's parents are Jeff and Lynn Schoen and Tom and Heidi Bernau. She has three brothers: Jason, Justin, and Peter, and two sisters: Shannon and Katie. Mallery plans on going to the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities after high school to study business. She likes to hang out with friends, watch movies, or play her saxophone. This year, Mallery looks forward to making many new friends and enjoying her time as Miss La Crescent.
First Princess: Bryn Trisler
Bryn Trisler is the daughter of Stacy Trisler and Bill Trisler. She has two older brothers and a twin sister, Bree. She is a dancer and takes classes five nights a week at Amanda's Academy of Dance. She also teaches ballet, tap, and jazz to toddlers and grade schoolers. She participates in Gay-Straight Alliance, Forensics, and Students Against Destructive Decisions at La Crescent High School. After graduation, she plans to attend UW-Green Bay to study psychology and ultimately work in a Cystic Fibrosis clinic or a drug and alcohol rehabilitation center. Bryn is very excited to be named 2009 Applefest first princess. She is looking forward to all the great friendships she will attain when representing La Crescent. She is sure that her experiences with the fest will last a lifetime. She says meeting people from around the state, country, and even world has been a blast so far and she cannot wait to continue this journey with her good friends Mallery and Megan.
Second Princess: Megan Wolf
After high school, Megan is planning on going to get my masters in Social Work at MSU: Mankato. Her parents are Terry and Jill Wolf, and she has one sister, Sara. Megan's hobbies are singing, piano, jewelry making, boating, shopping, watching sports, and hanging with her friends. This year She is looking foreward to getting closer to the Applefest family and the new experiences that will definitely open her eyes.
